Na jaren in Frankrijk te hebben gewoond, keert grootvader Jakob terug naar zijn geboortehuis. Hij heeft het huis gekocht en zijn kleinzoon Jakob komt tijdens de herfstvakantie meehelpen om het op te knappen. Als opa bij het opknappen van het huis uitglijdt en zich bezeert, komt er een oudere dame uit de buurt op hem passen. De dame blijkt het buurmeisje uit opa's jeugd te zijn. Zij vertelt Jakob over opa's rode zwaan, een houten speelgoedbeest dat hij altijd bij zich had en waarover hij nu in zijn koortsdromen van alles roept. Omdat opa de rode zwaan ooit is kwijtgeraakt, besluit Jakob om hem te zoeken in de hoop dat dit opa beter zal maken. Net aan zijn zoektocht begonnen, komt Jakob in een "sprookjeswereld" terecht, waar hij het meisje Neeltje ontmoet. Samen beleven zij spannende avonturen met "het Houtvolk" en "de Karpermannen". Jakob en Neeltje zetten alles op alles om de rode zwaan te vinden en hierbij blijken opa's verhalen te kunnen helpen...
EN. After years living in France, The grandfather of Jakob returns back too his old house. He buys the house and asks his grand-son too help renovate it. When his grandfather falls and get hurt, an older woman decides too look out on Jakob. The older woman tells Jakob a story about a red swan, an wooden toy that his grandfather always had with him, because his grandfather lost the wooden swan, Jakob decides he's going to search for it, with the hope that his grandfather will feel better when it returns. When he begins with his quest Jakob comes in a fantasy world, here he meets Neeltje. Together they have big adventures with the 'woodfolk' and the 'fishmen' Jakob en Neeltje decide to do everything for the wooden swan, and the stories of Jakobs grandfather could help.

Sub-chan is the right-hand man of Sayuri Hoshinaga, the young head of the Shinjuku Menso clan. The first woman that the manly Sub-chan falls in love with is Koiko. Sub-chan is completely devoted to Koiko. On the other hand, Koiko also has a crush on Sub-chan, but her innocence and vulnerability are irresistible. Hoshinaga visits Koiko on her way home from jogging. Single mum (father of child dead) from the country with 6th grade boy comes to Tokyo, leaves the boy to live with his uncle's family - wife, male, female teens, run a struggling greengrocer - and lives/ works in local inn. He gets bullied/ fights with local boys, goes to the baths, plays basketball, is befriended by his male cousin and becomes friendly with grade 4 girl who's the daughter of the innkeeper, who employs his mum and is the longterm mistress of a businessman from another town, who's the girl's father and who brings her half sister and brother to meet her but they're mean to her. Meanwhile the boy's mother gets friendly with one of the inn's clients and chucks her job for a trip or something more permanent with him. The young girl takes him shopping, and wants the boy to live with her and her mother, but mother and father refuse so the two kids go to a seaside where he sprains his ankle and they're late back even though the police get them and they're in trouble. The boy loses his beetle and tries to get another for the girl for a school project but when he does, she's moved house with her mother at the urging of her father. Clear? It's better in the film.

Bolero is a 1984 American romantic drama film starring Bo Derek, and written and directed by her husband John Derek. The film centers on the protagonist's sexual awakening and her journey around the world to pursue an ideal first lover who will take her virginity.
Despite minor commercial success, the film was critically panned, earning nominations for nine Golden Raspberry Awards at the 5th Golden Raspberry Awards and "winning" six, including the Worst Picture.
Set in the 1920s, Ayre "Mac" MacGillvary (Bo Derek) is a virginal 23-year-old young American who graduates from an exclusive British college. An orphan heiress to a vast fortune, Ayre is determined to find the right man for her first sexual encounter wherever he might be in the world. Rich enough not to venture forth alone, she brings along her best friend Catalina (Ana Obregon) and the family chauffeur Cotton (George Kennedy).
Ayre first travels to Morocco where she meets an ideal lover, an Arab sheik (Greg Benson) who offers to deflower her. He takes her away in his private airplane to an oasis in the desert, but during foreplay while rubbing her nude body with honey, he falls asleep almost immediately. Giving up on the sheik, Ayre goes on to Spain, where she meets the toreador Angel (Andrea Occhipinti), and sets out to seduce him. Into this group comes Paloma, (Olivia d'Abo), a 14-year-old local Gypsy girl whom Ayre and Catalina take under their wing. A minor subplot involves Catalina meeting and pursuing Ayre's lawyer, Robert Stewart, a kilt-wearing Scotsman who Catalina chooses to deflower her.
After several days of courtship and flirting, Angel makes love to Ayre one morning and he manages to stay awake. Unfortunately, after she has succeeded in her quest to lose her virginity, Angel is gored while bullfighting the next day.
The injury leaves Angel unable to perform in the bedroom, and so Ayre makes it her mission in life to see to his recovery. Along the way, she takes up bullfighting herself as a way of getting her despondent lover motivated to stop moping. During this, the Arab sheik flies to Spain to abduct Ayre, but she manages to convince him that she has already lost her virginity and he lets her go.
Eventually, Ayre is successful in aiding Angel to full recovery which leads to a climatic lovemaking session between them. The film ends with Ayre and Angel getting married at a local church.

Theresa O'Brian is a 12-year-old orphan who desperately wants to attend a school for the performing arts and become a star. She is not receiving encouragement at the orphanage and is getting into trouble with the orphanage officials due to her infractions of the rules and regulations.
In one of her unauthorized adventures away from the orphanage, she meets and befriends Sammy Cohen who was a Vaudeville performer who became an alcoholic and lost his career. He is interested in renewing his career and has faith in Theresa's ability, and together they develop an act called "Buddy and Babe" in order to raise money for Theresa's tuition.
Shot in 1979, the film was released in 1983, by which time the film's "TV Singer" Geraldine Hunt had scored a 1980 Billboard National Disco Action Top 100 number-one hit with "Can't Fake the Feeling".

Trás-os-Montes is a Portuguese independent docufictional and ethnofictional feature film, written, directed and edited by António Reis and Margarida Cordeiro and released in 1976. It takes its name from the Portuguese region of Trás-os-Montes from which the film emanated.
It's a docudrama with a poetic writing and non-linear narrative. Specifically, it's an "etnofiction": portraits the typical characters of Terra Fria, the North-east of Portugal, showing secular habits, in a majestic rural ambient. It's one of the works that represents the New Cinema (Novo Cinema) portuguese movement, and one of the first portuguese docudrama.

FR. Deux pères emmènent leurs filles âgées de 17 ans à Saint-Tropez. L'un d'eux, Pierre, se laisse séduire par Françoise, la fille de son meilleur ami…
EN. Pierre, 44, contentedly divorced, takes his teen daughter to the Côte d'Azur along with his friend Jacques and Jacques' own teen daughter, Françoise. On the topless beaches of Saint-Tropez, Jacques and Pierre discuss marriage and being parents. Then, in a wild moment at a nighttime party, Françoise starts playing with Pierre, and one thing leads to another: they become lovers. After a couple of trysts, Pierre wants out, but Françoise declares her love for him and wants to tell her father about it. She does, but leaves out Pierre's name, so Jacques enlists Pierre's help in identifying who seduced his daughter. What will Pierre do?
